Most robes are either waffle-thin hotel copies or heavy toweling that takes an hour to dry. A jersey robe sits between the two and gets worn on ordinary mornings rather than special ones.
Why this robe?
- Jersey weight: knitted jersey is lighter than toweling and dries far faster, which is what makes it practical after a shower.
- Shawl collar: the collar folds back in one continuous band and stays flat against the chest.
- Self-tie belt: the belt is cut from the same jersey and passes through two loops so it does not slide out.
- Patch pockets: two pockets are stitched on at hip height and hold a phone while your hands are busy.
